hello! I'm a complete noob when it comes to PC hardware. and I decided to get a basic gaming PC with a budget of 600$ and here's the hardware I selected
processor: Intel core i5 6500 3.2-3.6 6th gen /amd fx 8350 amd fx 4ghz
RAM: Corsair/Kingston 8gb
GPU: Amd radeon hd 7870 2gb ddr5/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB
and I'm clueless with all the other things...
so, Is this configuration good? will it be compatible with each other?
help will be appreciated :)
thank you.

I just don't think it can be done with that budget using Flipkart or Snapdeal. If you were in another market it could be done, but I have tried and tried using various components, and you won't make budget if you want to use any kind of case, power supply, motherboard and graphics card worth using. I'd suggest you either save a bit more and get a system worth your investment, not skimping on the remaining parts, or if you can find a GPU card used at a fair price, we might be able to do it but I always try to discourage using used graphics cards as they tend to not be a good investment. You just don't know what kind of abuse they've been through. These are the best parts I've come up with through the sources local to you that I know of...
What country are you in? What components do you need and what do you already have that can be reused? Do you need mouse, keyboard, operating system or monitor? If you need those things, you're going to be pretty limited in what you can get, but there are still some really good options in the budget sector.

hello! and thank you for replying :)
I'm from India, and I have a 20" monitor with a wireless keyboard and a mouse all I need is a new CPU and I'm starting from scratch so, I have nothing to reuse! also I'll be needing a motherboard, a HDD, A SMPS and a cpu cabinet right?

Even using a bit older, but still very capable, FX-8320 and 970 series motherboard, considering the prices in your market, it's going to be very hard to configure even a basic entry level system that's going to have a capable processor and graphics card. Is there any way you can increase the budget to around 50,000 rupees rather than around 40,000 which is about where you are at 600 dollars US.

yes, sir! it is really hard to configure one for that price... but what about the configuration I mentioned above? Is that compatible with each other? and I might be able to squeeze in an extra 5k so I can spend upto 45k...
