This is what i currently have:
-Asrock z68 pro 3
-i5 2500k @4.5Ghz
-Asus HD 7950 2gb
-Chieftec 550w CTG-550-80P
-2x DDR3 8 GB 1334 MHz

Budget:1000€

1.I have been looking at some GTX 970's and have chosen Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1,is it much larger than the HD7950?
2.Z68 pro3 is PCI Express 2.0 so that means i would need a new motherboard, whats a good one that supports my parts?
3.Is my powersupply enough?
4.Can i just add more ram by sticking one more DDR3 running at 667 MHz?

Some thoughts about this build? This is purely for gaming,im looking for 2560x1440 @+60fps at all times,in games like Battlefield 4.

You can upgrade to a Skylake CPU. Even non K CPUs can be overclocked using Z170 motherboards. GPU upgrade to GTX 970 is a good choice and I don't think it is much larger than 7950. To play at 1440p though, you will need a GTX 980 or R9 390x.

Your PSU is enough, but Chieftec is not known for making good power supplies. Get a Seasonic S12II 520 W or better.

Here is a part list that I concocted.

I think my 2500k will do for couple of years.I'll probably get a 980 then,im looking at some 100 hz monitors,so i want to get to get high framerate. My CPU doesnt support DDR4,so can i just add a stick of 8gb DDR3 667MHz,or should i get something faster?

I see. Can you give me a website where you will buy your stuff? You are not upgrading your CPU, so your motherboard is not going to be changed. The PSU is something I can recommend once I know where you are buying from.

Im upgrading the motherboard, because 980 ti requires pci-e 3.0 and my current one has 2.0,im buying from amazon since the 980 ti is pretty cheap there.
