I recently upgraded from a Gigabyte GA-F2A58M-DS2 MATX motherboard and an AMD A8 6600K Quad-core 3.9 GHz processor to an ASUS H170M-E D3, an Intel i5-6600K 3.5 GHz LGA1151 processor, and an ASUS GeForce GTX 980 STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5 graphics card.
The hardware is fine, but when I turn on my computer, Windows won't start properly and says it needs to run the startup repair. Then that fails, and I get a message saying 'startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically'. The startup repair down't work, I've tried restoring it to an earlier point, I've tried several command prompt solutions from the Microsoft forums, it won't start in safe mode, I've tried to reinstall Windows from the disc, but the prompt to reinstall won't come up.
I really don't know what to do at this point.
