i just installed a new SSD in my laptop, and i'm trying out programs that transfer only OS from old to new drive. i'm planning to use my older bigger hard drive for other storage, but will it hurt my computer if the HDD also have the OS installed, even if i use my SSD as boot drive?

Solution
It shouldn't effect the SSD at all and everything should work smoothely but if you do run in to errors i would recommend backing up the files on the HDD and formating it. But as i said before it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Hope this helps you!
