Sorry if I explain so poorly but Im not really a pc expert.
So I have this pc from 2007, (ESWC packard bell Ipower) and to be honest it pretty slow, this might be the result of trash files from shit that was downloaded over the years, or the low amount of ram (about 4 GB of DDR2 ram)
The stickers on the front say: Nvidia SLI ready.
AMD 64 Athlon X2.
And Windows Vista.
It also has a 500W power supply.

I friend of mine says my pc too out of date and I'll be better of buying entirely new parts.
But does anyone know how to make my pc good enough for decent gaming (at least about the same or maybe better then ps4)

This is my pc but specs might be slightly off http://www.reevoo.com/p/packard-bell-ipower-x9810

Pleas keep keep in mind have limited money, and live in Europe (nl)

Let's say you do put a nice PSU and GPU in their.

That old and weak CPU will be a REAL Bottleneck.

An example of that is this > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEbNTGw97v4

And if you want to game, 8GB's of Ram is highly recommended. But DDR2 ram, haha, older ram is more expensive as it is no longer in production. So 4GB's of DDR2 is more expensive than 4GB of DDR3 (Well, depending on where you shop)

What is your budget?
