I have come into a little bit of money, and can now upgrade but do not know if I should buy a complete system with the 500 budget or upgrade a couple of parts now, then the rest in March after tax refund.

Once piece I need to upgrade right away is my GPU as it's crashing my PC. For details, see my previous thread.

I will want to replace every part in my current rig. Can anyone suggest how I should upgrade and what I should upgrade now or what can wait?

Solution
You could upgrade the mobo RAM and CPU now and video card later and use the onboard graphics until then. Or get something like an R9 380/390 now and upgrade the the other stuff later. It's really up to you. The PSU and drives you could reuse. The system below will push just about any video card and can be overclocked.

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($53.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $373.97

I did not mention that I need 2 DVI ports so the motherboard selected will not work. I have 2 monitors, one can connect via HDMI, but the refresh rate will not go beyond 60 MHz, whereas my monitor on DVI can go up to 140-160 (don't remember exact value).

I'd love to keep the add on, getting assassin's creed syndicate free though.

Oh man, I'm so dumb. I forgot that the gpu will be later. I can handle lower refresh rate for a few months.

Thank you for your help BadActor. Now I just got to figure out how to combine gift cards.
