So i just got a EVGA 770 SC/ACX graphics card for my computer. I noticed that it has 1 6pin and 1 6+2pin power connecters. My PSU only has 2 6pin connecters. I installed the graphics card and powered on the system. I get the message "Please turn off the computer and connect pcie power". Do I have to get a 6pin to 6+2pin adapter to solve this problem? I've tried removing my ram from 4 sticks to 1 as I read in another post. My rig is as follows:

Case - Dell XPS 630i
Mobo - Dell PP150 A00
CPU - Core 2 quad Q9550 @2.83
Ram - 6GB OCZ
PSU - Dell 750w D750E-00
GPU - EVGA 770 SC/ACX 2gb

Any help would be much appreciated.

So your psu don't have 6+2 or 8pin power connector? If you don't have one you can use molex to convert two 4 pin (peripheral) to one 8 pin pcie power connector.
