So I'm thinking about getting nvidia geforce gt 630 but im not sure if its all compatible with the current things i have. I have a f2a55-m lk2 plus for a motherboard and an AMD A4-5300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics for a processor.

i do know that gt 630 is compatible with my mainboard since it has a x16 pci slot and if i'm correct gt 630 also has a x16 pci express. I'm not sure if the processor is also something to be considered since it is an APU.

I've heard about "crossfiring" but i don't really have a clue about it. If it's even possible since my APU is AMD and the graphics card that i'm going to get is from nvidia. Or is it better to just turn off my integrated gpu and just let the gt 630 do its job so that way it also makes more breathing room for the processor since imma be disabling the integrated GPU. Any insights regarding this? would be much appreciated

processor has nothing to do with compatability

the pcie slot and power supply are the only concerns

Oh okay thanks. How about regarding disabling the integrated GPU or crossfiring it? any suggestions?

a dedicated gpu alone is always better, especially at the lower end of the cpu scale
