how to open disc tray of acer laptop

Hi
If you are sure there is a DVD drive then from Windows Explorer you should be able to right click on DVD drive icon & Eject to open the drive.
There may be some other ways mentioned in the User Guide
In Win 10 click on 'This PC' and DVD drive Icon will be in right hand window

The most likely issue here is that no optical drive was installed in the laptop. It is becoming more common to see that since most of the tasks traditionally performed by an optical drive are now done through streaming or USB - optical drives are becoming a rarity in many systems

That "CD Tray" is probably just a cover, the drive may be optional and not included in the model you got.
