question is about selecting suitable ram

My mother is biostar mcp6p3 with AMD Athlon 2 processor...
1) Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10)....
2)Kingston FURY Memory - 8GB Module - DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM....
which of the following ram is suitable for my PC

The two kits listed above aren't complete in terms of specs. We can't exactly say either will work flawlessly though pretty much any ram that is capable of populating the slots on your motherboard will work without any issues. Do note though that both the Kingston and Corsair kits gets disqualified if you want to avail their spec'd speeds as they are rated much higher than what the maximum ram supported by the motherboard is. The maximum ram supported in your motherboard is 1333MHz while anything above that number means you will need to go for an overclock and that will just break the board.

You will however be able to run either kit if they were downclocked. In the case of ram voltage you can look for 1.65v~1.8v rated at...

If your search leads you to find overpriced ram kits then either of the above two kits will work but you'll need to manually set the timings so the system is taken care of.

Can probably do better with a set of 1333 pricewise, which is the mobo max as well as the probably the top end for the CPU (actually the MC (memory controller)), the Phenom CPUs (notable the 965) was the first that could reliably run 1600 sticks
