about steam's gta4

hey guys , i have gta iv on steam and i wanted to ask you

is it safe for me if i installed : cars , drifting handlings , mods , etc ?

or would i get banned in steam or rockstar games ? (same question with gta v)

For GTA IV, you could install mods and use them in singleplayer, and most likely multiplayer too. In GTA 5, feel free to install whichever mods you like, but don't use them online. It's very simple to get banned as GTA 5 is very well monitored.
