Hello, I have an asus z97-k motherboard and recently have gotten a msi gtx 970 gaming 4gig, but when I'm trying to install the nvidia driver it cant recognize my graphicscard... (Could be, because I have a in built graphicscard in my motherboard, but I dont really know.) Please help, dont really want to send the graphicscard back... And, yes I have plugged in all the power cables, both the 6 and 8. But my question is if i should plug the graphicscard in to the "CrossFireX Ready" in put, or the "DirectX 11 Support", because they are the only one's that fit the graphicscard.

Solution
You plug the graphic card into a PCIE X16 slot, preferably the first pcie x16 slot. In your case, the gray pcie x16 slot is fine.
You need all the pcie slots filled and the monitor directly connected to the graphic card.
The words "CrossFireX Ready" and "DirectX 11 Support" just state what the motherboard supports. It's just part of advertisement of what feature the motherboard has.
