Hello community .

I recently bought a used xbox360 after I tested that It worked , the owner told me that I had installed a Mod-chip so I opened it carefully to check if it can be removed . Anyway I found no mod-chip but after I reassembled it , I plugged in the HDMI but seems nothing to happen . When the xbox360 is powered-off the TV display only a message box that writes no"NO SIGNAL" but when I power on the message disappears like it found a signal but still black screen .

Solution i have tried

1. To replace the PSU
2. To replace the HDMI
3. Changed the AVI and HDMI cables from an functional xbox360 slim
4. To plug in a HDD in case the xbox just need to have it's SATA connected somewhere
5. Power it on from the remote - controller and used combinations to reset the display

I am afraid if it is broken CPU or motherboard

Do you have any suggestions?

Then the DVD drive was probably flashed, no mod chip, just a different firmware and yes, that it allows it run burnt CD's. But modding isn't the issue here. You bought something that worked fine, took it apart for no reason, and now it doesn't work. Taking apart the slims aren't easy either, you could have easily damaged something.

No i didn't found any mod chip I don't know how the previous guy worked it with cracked CDs but It didn't work and it doesn't

So i just disassembled it check if it have any mod chip(there was nothing "at least nothing that could be found I will post a picture of the motherboard") and reassembled it
