Slow Internet on new Gaming Pc Lenovo Erazer

Family got a new gaming PC Lenovo Erazer, and now a bunch of internet issues have happened, but only with the computer on. Wondering if I should turn off my firewall, or look for programs that could be malicious. I have Verizon DSL internet, and have gone into the modem configs to look into any problems there. I pay for 15/1 internet (Best in my area if you can believe) and usually get around 3/.2 or none at all. Any suggestions would be great.

Best in my area is 6/.2 so feel lucky :p

In all seriousness try resetting your router to stock or enabling a special mode specifically for the PC only and/or reinstalling windows
I doubt the windows firewall is causing the issue but you can try
