I'm extremely confused on this low performance.

So, for Christmas i received an R9 380 and was extremely exited to think that i could get great performance. Although, when i opened up a game such as minecraft or CS:GO, the frames were WORSE than my APU's graphics. I have the AMD 7400K APU.. is the CPU bottlenecking??

(for testing) i used minecraft and the F3 Menu told me that it was running R9 380..

Okay here it goes.

- GPU: R9 380 4GB
- CPU: AMD 7400K APU
- RAM: 2 4gb Sticks of crucial ballistix RAM.
- PSU: (New) CX750M Modular PSU
- Case: Just in case (no pun intended) Corsair Air 240.
- Storage: One 128gb SSD and one 1TB HDD.

Motherboard is the MSI A78M-E35

I found some things about the motherboard bios, ill list them all.
- SMBIOS Version: 2.8
- BIOS Mode: UEFI

uninstall all your gpu drivers including intergrated and try a fresh install of amd catylyst , if that doesnt work do a fresh install of windows. Thats fixed my gpu problems multiple times
