Hello, I'm currently having trouble with port forwarding with my Modem. I do not have a router because my modem is wireless. So I don't really need a router. My Modem is a Sagemcom FAST4350 (Or as know as Bell Home Hub 1000). I just recently got this modem because my old one wasn't capable of port forwarding and I need an upgrade (My old modem was a 2Wire 2701HG-G).

So back to the main topic, I port forwarded my modem to port 80 because I wanted my friends to access my WAMP server, but I couldn't access the server using my IP while they couldn't. Then I tried creating a Minecraft server and that didn't work either. The settings for the modem was plain and they do have an Advance view, which I use, is still plain. I tried using the site map, and nothing could help me, there was only 1 site about port forwarding and that was only about opening ports, nothing about disabling firewalls. Nothing.

I tried reading other forums about port forwarding, they didn't work. I tried contacting my ISP, they said they could only help me about opening my port but not troubleshooting. One forum said to enable DMZ, which my modem is compatible of doing, and that failed. I don't what to do at this point. Can anyone help me please? Thanks for reading and thanks for helping.

A few things to check. If your friends are on the same network as you, they'll need the IP of your PC. If they're outside of your network, they'll need the IP provided by your ISP (www.whatismyip.com). Something else to keep in mind is the IP configuration of your PC. If it's set up using DHCP, there is a chance PC's IP address can change. When that happens you'll need to update the port forwarding on the modem.

Did you read the whole thing, I did make my IP static. My Network has a system that allows it to auto-change it.

No, my friends live far away from me.

Then in order for them to connect to you, there are two things at minimum you need first:
1) Port forwarding on the correct ports between your modem and PC using the IP address of your PC. (You said you've already done this)
2) Since your friends are outside of your local network they will need to access it via the ISP's IP address. That can be obtained through www.whatismyip.com and will be different than your PC's IP address.

I didn't tell my friends to connect to my Local IP (Like 192.168.Blah Blah), I gave them my Network IP address, I tried connecting at home, still not working, I tried to using www.yougetsignal.com and said that the port wasn't opened.

The port for WAMP or Minecraft server? WAMP needs both ports 80 and 8080 open. Minecaft needs 25565 forwarded. You may also need to check your Windows network configuration to make sure it allows traffic through those ports. I'll look into that a bit tonight to see if I can't provide more info.

Have you checked your Windows firewall? That's the last thing I can think of. I've only set up TS servers, and once did an old BF2 server at my home. When all ports were forwarded on the router and opened in the firewall my friends were able to connect. I'm honestly out of ideas for you, buddy.
