Hey guys, I'm new to these forums, but I was just wondering if anyone could help me, I have recently just upgraded from AMD to Intel i5 Skylake, and I have got the motherboard Krait Gaming Z170A / Z170 and I need help updating the bios because there is a problem with my computer and the memory, and I can't even get onto windows without an error screen and a restart it says on the website there is a new bios update and it says that it my fix this issue.
Now to update the bios I have directly went to the MSI website to download the latest bios.
( I have also tried the Global site without us. at the start)
http://us.msi.com/product/motherboard/support/Z170-KRAIT-GAMING.html#down-bios
Now before I copied the files onto a USB I format the USB to get everything off it, so I extracted the files out the zip folder and onto the USB and Eject the USB out of my laptop, ready to put into my PC, when I go into the Bios and select M-Flash or something I can then see the USB but there are no files for me to select so I can't update my bios.
Please help, I can't access my PC but I have a laptop I can use if anything is needed, do I have to make the USB drive bootable in some way?
Thank you so much!
