Hey Tomshardware
I am having issues with my pc. It crashes maybe 5-60mins into games and sometimes i am able to get to the Task manager and close program or sometimes i have to hard reset my pc. My gpu temps stay under 70-75 degrees most of the time. I play my games at low settings to get most FPS. I have recently replaced my PSU 3 weeks ago but i only started having this problem few days ago. My cpu temps never go above 65 degrees.

Specs: I7 4790K cooled by H60
Gtx 660
z97 g45 mobo
8gb hyperx ram
Cooler master V650 Power Supply

I replaced my power supply as it used to be a seasonic 400W lol. It was actually running pretty decent though except the coil whining. Im afraid it might be my ram or new psu. I will do tests individually for each component to make sure they are working correct just tell me the program names. Please help me as i cannot have a proper gaming scession

I have tried games ranging from Black ops 2, black ops 3, GTA V, cs go (doesnt crash), bf4

Thank you

For the RAM test you may use MemTest86. It is free. You will need a blank CD/DVD or a USB stick. Check out their site, there is all the info you need: http://www.memtest86.com/

As I read in some other threads, it is best if you run the test for at least 8 hours.
