I'm not sure if this kind of post is allowed here, so sorry if it isn't!

I'm saving up for a gaming PC and so I'm thinking of selling my laptop (which it will be replacing anyway). I'm not sure how much I should price it at though because I am struggling to find any second hand examples of it online.

It is a Lenovo G505s 15.6"
Here are the specs:
1 TB HDD
AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
AMD Radeon HD 7640G
Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit
8GB RAM

I'd have to check more thoroughly before I sold it but I can't see any visual wear (scratches etc.). I would be selling it with the OS as it is OEM.

Does anyone have any ideas what it would be worth?

Also, I'm not sure where the best place to sell would be. I was thinking Amazon or EBay - which is better (or is another website all together preferable)?

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Have a look at sold items on eBay to get an approximate value.
If you are in the UK, it would sell for around £258 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lenovo-IdeaPad-G505S-AMD-A10-5750M-8GB-1TB-Windows-8-15-6-Laptop-12572-/331734446258?hash=item4d3ce9f0b2:g:Kp4AAOSwHnFV1I7v), however that is refurbished so I would go for around £220.
Don't market it as something it's not but the 8GB of RAM and "Fully up-to date Windows 10" would be good features to include in the eBay listing. Run a few tests on it like memtest so you can say that it has been tested, and you could call it nearly new depending on age.
Go have it valued at CeX too if you live in the UK, however don't sell to them. Just take it in and ask how much they would be willing to pay for...

The price they pay should be a lot less than what you are planning to sell on eBay for as they aim to make huge profits - if it is not then make your item more expensive.

It's going to be a tough sell though seeing as you can buy i7 business laptops for that price or less now. But it will do better at gaming than them and also has legal Windows as well as possibly more RAM and a better hard drive capacity.
