I have asked a similar question before, today i upgraded my computer case, power supply and graphics card. When i had done i turned on my pc to find that my wireless adapter was not finding any networks and had a red cross next to it in the adapter settings. I have had similar problems before but always had to reinstall windows, i really dont want to have to come to this. Please help.

My network adaptor is: qualcomm atheros ar9485

Solution
I'm out of ideas other than the adapter has gone bad which I doubt since this has happened before. One other thing I might try is to go into device manager and uninstall the device and reboot. Let Windows discover it again and install the driver. Oh, and run several different virus scans like ESET Online Scanner.
