So, as the Boxing Day deals approach, I am once again looking at computer parts that good upgrade my current rig.
Said rig:
Processor: AMD Athlon X4 760K @ 3.80 GHz
Motherboard: MSI A78M-E45
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GT 740 2GB GDDR5
Power Supply: CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W Plus Bronze
Case: Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01
If I upgrade said rig with the following parts:
Processor: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113286&_ga=1.36225381.456238407.1450937186)
Motherboard: MSI Gaming 970 Gaming (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130790&_ga=1.110585280.456238407.1450937186)
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 950 (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487156&_ga=1.87916893.456238407.1450937186)
Would the following upgrades up my computer's gaming performance? Other than that, would the FX-6300 bottleneck the GTX 950? Would the following setup provide me with a smooth gaming experience? Mostly MMOs, League, CS:GO, and Arma 2/3 with the occasional BF4
