Can't decide between the two cards. Mostly play games such as fallout 4, Witcher 3.
Sapphire Radeon 380 Nitro 4gb is $357 NZD (244.31 US Dollar)
Sapphire Radeon 380x Nitro is $390 NZD (266.90 US Dollar)
Im looking to buy to day as the cards have a discount due to boxing day sales but im not sure if the 32 difference is worth getting the 380x over the 380. I will consider overclocking if that makes a considerable difference in the choice.
Main aspects of my build are:
z97 asrock Mobo
i5 4690k
corsair 650W Psu
8 gb ram
It should be noted aswell that 290 and 280x is not an option as they are all at least 200-250 NZD more which is even more than GTX 970 or R9 390. The latter cards are also up to 150 NZD more so cant really afford.
I have looked into GTX 960 cards. The Gigabyte G1 4gb is 370 NZD. However, i am slightly leaning towards 380 as much research has shown they are slightly better than the 960 series.
