Good i3 processor for gaming 2015 (budget)

any good i3 or i5 processors for 2015? something that is good with cpu intensive games like Arma 3 or Dayz. My new mother board is already costing 72 dollars so that takes out 72 dollars from my 250$ budget so i got like 178 dollars to spare.

Will this be good with a r9 270 OC. is this cpu good enough for Arma 3 and Dayz and other cpu intensive games?

Recommended Day Z Requirements:
CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD Phenom II X4 940 or better
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 7750 with 1 GB VRAM or better

So will a R9 270 OC, 12gb ram, and an i3 4130 run it?

It will run it. Just do not expect to play at anything above medium settings. More like medium, low, and very low if you would like playable FPS. Minimum requirement to run Day Z for CPU is a Intel Dual-Core.
Hope that helps! If anything, just think about upgrading CPU.
