Okay so I've recieved some new ram for christmas and I can't seem to get it working. I'm just adding 2 new sticks of 4GB Ripjaw. I have two other sticks of 4GB Ripjaw that are a different style than the new ones that have been in there for years. The speeds read the same and both sets work fine on their own.
Motherboard - Asus P8Z77-V LX
The current problem is the red LED light beside the ram is on. Which I'm going to assume is the reason my computer won't boot up.
At one point during the day I had gotten to bios with both sets in, but then windows didn't register them.
