Is my PSU compatible with my GPU?

I've just gotten a new EVGA GTX 970 graphics card. The requirements for such a thing are one 6 pin and one 8 pin power cable, both of which were supplied with the GPU as male molex adaptors. My current power supply came with my computer case (http://www.amazon.com/Ark-Technology-PA-08-Computer-Supply/dp/B003YDZIB6) and is supposedly able to supply
500W. This power supply has three female molex cables which are currently hooked up to the hard drive, fans/LEDs, and disc drive.

I am only able to hook up the 8 to 6 pin adaptor to a PSU molex, or the 6 to male molex adaptor to a PSU molex. Is there an extra cord/adaptor that can be purchased and added onto the PSU, or should I purchase an entirely new power supply?

If the latter is the case, are there any recommendations for a power supply that would work with the given graphics card?

(Apologies if this is difficult to understand, I'm coming currently away from home for the day and therefore forced to communicate on a mobile device.)

A power supply that comes with a case is worth the amount of ink I used to type this sentence. Arguably less - imaginary internet ink won't fry your PC.

This is the least expensive PSU that I'd feel is good enough to put in my PC if I was using a GTX 970.

If a good power supply isn't in the budget, I'd return the 970 and get a 280x/380x to free up the ability to get a safe power supply. The power supply is *the* most...
