I use my PS3 to stream media from my computer via PS3 Media Server.
Works well, used it for years. All of a sudden, today I can't connect.
Turns out PS3 won't connect to internet at all.
I didn't change anything, there's no power outage, nothing at all.
Just stopped working all of a sudden.
Spent hours trying to fix it, and now entering it manually even.

The attempt to obtain an IP address has timed out

Even when I enter everything manually, the IP is a success, but the internet fails.

I have reset my PS3 to default settings.
Reset my router to default settings.
Didn't fix a thing.

The first error code was 80130182
Then, after resetting, it's 80710102

Here is what I have entered into my PS3 (With the IP ending in 127) created unique IP

What it looked like, but with the primary DNS same as above pic ^^^

And the error

This is now beyond my comprehension.
PS: I'm hardwired via coax, split between my streaming computer, via router
In other words, I'm technically connected to my computer almost directly
If I can't use the internet due to the IP, can I piggyback off of my computers internet?

Just got off the phone with tech support:

Sony: No it's not fixable from our end, call your ISP
This is an issue with the router

Verizon: Sorry, there's nothing we can do, everything seems to be fine
Contact Sony again

AGGGHH!!

This is not quite clear. Can you describe exactly how the PS3 is connected to your network?

Make and model of the router to which it is connected?

Can you ping the PS3 IP address from your computer?

Weird, I could have sworn my PS3 is static. I assigned it the .127 IP
