I wanna be able to play most games on High Settings, I mainly want to play ArmA 3. Will this work?
- Gigabyte z97x-Gaming G1
- Intel i7 4790k OC'd to 4.7 Ghz
- Ek 420 + Ek 480 Heat Array
- 32 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3
- 2x Nvidia GTX 980s
- Corsair AX1200i PSU
- 1TB Samsung 840 EVO SSD
- 2 TB Seagate Barracuda

Keep in mind I found these specs off a YouTuber I watch. Just wanted to make sure these parts are actually compatible. (This is my first ever PC build)

Also what does the (2x) Nvidia GTX 980s mean? Do I buy two of them?

Yes, he is using two of them. But you probably don't need to crossfire or sli for normal gaming. one would be fine for your purposes.

Also, you wouldn't need a 1tb SSD. There is a lot of parts here that are just gonna burn money for no reason.

As long as the game runs smoothly just wandering, ArmA 3 is a difficult game to get good FPS (40+ Frames) from what I heard heavy modding, alot of people on servers etc. I don't know anything about building PCs and what the best parts are. sorry xD but if you're positive this would work I thank you xD

The parts I listed go way above the minimum and recommended requirements for ARMA III. Now, if you want EVERYTHING maxed out, like VSYNC and AntiAliasing you may want to consider SLI. But it's never as simple as just buying another GPU, you have to think more about cooling and buying a really robust power supply.

But like I said, I think one GTX 980 will play that game beautifully. Below is the report I just pulled from GameDebate.com

Thank you. I really only wanted the in game looks and being able to run smoothly. I've been playing on a really bad PC for 4 years now. Just thought it was time for an upgrade. Again thank you for the help.
