Windows 7 or 10 which performs better on intel core 2 Duo 3.0Ghz

With a C2D, I suggest sticking with Windows 7. I have Windows 10 on a C2Quad and it feels sluggish.

It has:
C2Quad Q9550
8gb DDR2 800mhz
Radeon 6870
WD HDD

It boots rather fast, but inside Windows it doesn't seem as responsive as it does in 7. Other than that, Windows 10 seems to be a pretty decent OS.

you can use either, i belive "tehnichly" win10 requires less "min requirements" than 7.
but you can get 7 and up date at any time you want.
i like 10 better it supports more hardware on its own and has better conectivity ( maybe not better but easier)
and i really enjoy certain apps such as the netflix app (just one reason why i would never go back to win7 having acces to apps on a big screen is just superb.
