I recently bought a core i5 4690 (non k) with an Ga-h81m-hd2 gygabyte motherboard i wanted to ask if you think it's going to cause any problems? Will i have to update my BIOS or will the cpu not be able to perfom properly? i dont really care about OC and i dont plan on doing SLI it's mostly just going to be used for gaming paired with a gtx 970.

I never update my bois unless i really need a feature from the update. BIOS is a thing you should not touch much.
