So guys for Christmas I received a new motherboard that works with my new processor that I bought. Motherboard: http://www.amazon.com/MSI-DDR3-Motherboards-Z97-GAMING/dp/B00K8KPXUO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451119101&sr=8-1&keywords=Motherboard+LGA+1150+MSI Anyway I finally got it all setup and problems had been fixed after turning it off and on and plugging stuff in and out. (thats not how I fixed the problems but I did have to do all that) anyway it had been a long day, but I finally see the windows start to load up and all of my stuff from my hard drive was still there! But then I notice that it wasn't detecting my Network. I have a mini heart attack then go look at my computer. Ahh I forgot to plug in my Ethernet cable, thats ok. I plug it in and nothing. Welp I guess I'll just restart the computer. Nothing. Ok I'll go reset (or al least what I think was a reset) of the Motherboard's BIOS back to the default (not that I had changed anything anyway) and still nothing. I've reset it a few times. Plug it in and out. Reset my router. And still I continue to have no Network detected. I know I'm plugging the cable in right too because it makes the same loud clicking sound that it always does and I also know its not a faulty cable because I had used the same one today on my old motherboard. In conclusion it has been a very long day and I don't think I'm going to go to sleep until this is fixed because it is driving me crazy. Any replies are very appreciated!

Solution
The board should have came with a DVD that includes all the drivers for the board, including the driver for the network\ethernet connection. You should install all the correct drivers for your new board from this disk first. Once you get online, go to the boards web site and make sure you have the lastest versions of the drivers.

Welp....I'm and idiot and I owe you so much. That was all it was. It had been a long time since I had made my first build (2013) and I just forgot completely about this step. Thank you. :D
