Hello Tomshardware! This morning i wanted to sit down at my computer and play some games after the xmas dinner. Everything seemed fine. I turned on my pc, and then left to get a cup of tea. When i came back i saw the pc log on screen, which turned black instantly. Went closer to see what happened, the pc was off. Tried to turn it back on and the cpu fan was not spinning, the case fans were. It had shut itself down again, did not get past Bios check. Now it does not start at all. Took it apart, jumpstarted the psu and that is fine.

My question: Can i remove the ram, the gpu and other drives, connect psu and power it up. If i'm not mistaking, the pc speaker should beep if the mobo is still alive, cause it has no ram.

UPDATE!!!! : Pc turns on without ram, 3 beeps from speakes, fan spins up, it's not the mobo. I'm continuing the checks
