Using SSD for boot, and HDD for programs

I've been using a hard drive for a year now, and its 2/3 full out of a Terabyte which won't fit on my new 240 GB SSD. I now boot to the SSD, but all my programs and files are on the old hard drive. I want to be able to use the programs from my HDD, but booted from the SSD (For example, my fresh windows install says I don't have an antivirus, but Microsoft security essentials is on the old drive). I'm aware that I can do this if I reinstall the programs to my hard drive, but I have a lot and don't want to do that. Is there a simple way to make my SSD recognize all the programs installed to the HDD, or do I have to just download all the installers again.
