Here is the deal, i already have a i7-4770 from a previous computer, and i would ask if it would be worth it to buy a totally new i5-6600k just for the extra power.

I have a
Motherboard: Msi z170
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 8GB Nitro Video Card
RAM: 32gb G.skill TridentZ
SSD: EVO 850 Pro 256gb

I do have the money to buy the i5 6600k would it be worth it in my case.
And if i didnt buy it, would my cpu bottle neck the rest of my pc?

Since you already have a Z170 mobo, I'd sell the 4770 and buy the 6600K, unless you do thread intensive work that would benefit from the hyperthreading.
The 6600K is faster, supports newer features and supports OC, which will make it stay competitive for much longer.
Now, the 4770 is quite a beast too, and won't bottleneck your rig, but if you don't have a Z97 mobo, I think that selling the 4770 and buying the 6600K is the better option.

Okay, unfortunetly i dont have the original box for the i7-4770, do you think i would still be able to sell it? Its practically brand new almost not used.

As long as the part is in working condition most people will buy it without the box. Considering how rarely it was used you certainly shouldn't have much of a problem attracting people to it. Ive listed GPU's for sale without a box and have gotten buyers.

Sell it. As a user of the 4770(K) you won't be disappointed or lacking with an upgrade to the 6600K and comparable tech. Plus the 4770 is a 4th gen chip that needs a LGA1150 socket. The motherboard in question "Msi z170" uses a LGA 1151 which is not backward compatible (also DDR3 4th gen 5th gen LGA 1150 ram vs the DDR4 6th gen LGA 1151 in the 170 won't work either for the 4770 ether.)

As for selling, you just need to put it in an antistatic bag (like $1~$2 a most) and then wrap the whole thing in cheap foam and use a standard size small box from the post office. You can get easily and quickly get $200+ for that chip (as long as it works).
