Putting case filter on top of PSU?

Hi, I own a Corsair 230t case and a Seasonic G750 gold certified power supply.

I want to put a filter on the power supply the the legs on the 230t are far to small for me to feel comfortable mounting the PSU face down on the floor. The case however does come with a filter that I would like to Jerry Rig (for lack of better word) on top of the power supply.

I plan on mounting the PSU face up pulling air from inside the case vs air from the bottem and threw the air filter.

I know it will probably not be a huge deal to tape it in place on top of the fans but I was just wondering what others thought.

The case does have a window but it's not like I'll be showing it off or anything. I also know it will reduce air pressure and volume inside of the PSU but I just want some other opinions on this.

Thank you for your time.

im thinking you're planning to use the same filter that would have been under the case filtering its intake if it was mounted fan down? i dont think it would be any different to the function of the unit if you taped it on fan in like you said. if the filter slides out the back for removal, maybe you coould cut a slot above the psu to slide it in on top?
that aside, i doubt it would be starved for air fan down as long as the case is on feet and not on a carpet that the feet would sink in to.
