I have an MSI 970 Gaming motherboard. I just recently built a PC and I tried downloading the drivers on the CD that came with the motherboard. It said I would get a "Total Installer" menu that would allow me to choose which drivers to install but it never came up. All I got was a setup menu that listed the drivers on the CD, but no way to install them. The install button didn't work since I couldn't select anything from the list. I'll provide a picture later of the setup program.

For now I've copy and pasted everything from the CD onto a file on the desktop. Apparently it contains all the drivers but I don't know how to install them. I plan on using LAN for the computer but I don't have LAN drivers installed yet (what I'm trying to do). Right now I'm typing this on a different computer. How would I solve this problem? Should I download drivers from the MSI website, put them on a USB and then install them to the new PC?

Thank you!

I browsed the disk and found the folder. It contained the following folders plus many other files: BMP, Chipset, Hotfix, Install, Lang, Network, OtherDriver, Sound, Storage, SVGA and Utility. I went into each folder, though some were empty like OtherDriver and found many other folders inside. For each folder I dug deeper and found setup for each driver. I doubleclicked all the setups and they installed the drivers. I installed everything I could find. My sound and ethernet are working now and I think everything is ok for now. I hope I did this right.

I did, so apparently it updates my drivers to make sure everything runs fine. Some of my drivers are already outdated so I'm updating them now. Thank you very much for your help!!
