So, I have a small problem with my CPU overheating lately and I need this solved. I am a huge gamer and I really hate having my PC overheat in the middle of a hardcore game of Warhammer 40K. As stated, I have the AMD FX 8350 with the stock fan. If it matters. I also have the GTX 760. But mainly I need something that can FIT my case. I will put a link for you guys, since it can help with visuals. Thank you so much, and have a happy new year!

Get the biggest cooler you can afford, two fans is good too. But the cheaper ones like the Coolermaster 212evo, Zalman CNPS10X OPTIMA and others are ok too. Getting a second fan for them would be good too.

The cheapest one, the LOGISYS Computer MC4002IW 120mm Hydro seems to have some bad ratings, and it's a cheap-o brand so likely the fan is cheap.

Or a water cooling kit. Read the comments, some have issues. They are not as reliable as a heatpipe cooler because there are more parts to break. Pump noise or failures happen sometimes.

Because you have a case with large fans and good case cooling, a large heatpipe cooler should work well. The water cooling kits are better for cases with poorer cooling.

I am using the GA-970A-UD3 Motherboard. Does anyone else now of this CPU overheating frequently? I really want to make sure the fan will fix this problem. It seems to overheat when I install games or run RB6 Siege for some reason. Thank you guys for the responses!

I have the h100i GTX as well. It's far too much for what he needs. A good air cooler would work perfect.

Probably. But that means he can overclock.
