Okay so I've just got a new PC for Christmas and I booted it up on a old hard drive and loaded a game and I heard this extremely load noise coming from the computer at first I thought it was the graphics card or the hard drive but then when I listed closely i noticed it was from the power supply so I opened the case and took a look and it was running on the motherboard so we slightly moved it a bit so it wasn't rubbing and on the bottom I noticed a dust cover under the fan that could have been rattling to I took it out and also spun the fan with a pencil lol to check it wasn't catching and it wasn't. I booted it back up and makes the same noise please if anyone could help thanks

Probably coil whine, its not necessarily a bad thing. What power supply do you have make and model?

Yeah thats a terrible power supply I would recommend you replace it with something of higher quality.
