How to disable onboard graphics

Hello, so I am trying to do stuff with my PC for the first time but when I plug my HDMI cord into my graphics port it won't load. I plug it into the motherboard one and it does. So this makes me assume it's onboard graphics.

TL;DR How do I disable onboard graphics on a GIGABYTE motherboard

Try removing it from the 1st PCie slot and installing it in the 2nd one. If still the same, try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute).

I have both PCI-E cables connected to both of the inputs which are connected to the PSU what's not connected?
