Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6300
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
Graphics Card: XFX Radeon 280 3GB GDDR5
Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB
RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Case: Rosewill Galaxy-01 (really excellent cooling, btw)
DVD: Asus 24x
PSU: EVGA 600 B1

I feel that my parts are really good for a PC under $500, so I expect it to handle any game today without a problem. However, there's always room for criticism so if you suggest any changes just say it.

I was a click away from buying the EVGA 600 B1 PSU ($40 on Amazon right now) when I read the reviews saying it's a loud PSU that fails after a few months. I want to buy a PSU for longevity and one that won't burn my parts. I'm willing to spend up to $60 (I saw a good Corsair PSU awhile back for 49.99 but I didn't take advantage, it was a CX600M) for a PSU, and maybe $70 if it's really good. The PSU is stopping me from pretty much buying my parts, as I don't want to make any mistakes. BTW the PSU needs to be at least 550W. I do plan on overclocking in the future, just not now.

TL;DR - Need a 550W+ PSU that's under $70.

P.S. My graphics card will play nice with the mobo right? Pretty sure the mobo doesn't have a PCIe 3.0 slot.

Thanks, but do you know of any other PSU's larger than 550W? I used the power supply calculator and it rated my system at 484W. I don't know whether 550W is the right wattage or should I go for 600W-650?
