Hi all,
I just cloned my system drive to an SSD with the Samsung Migration utility. I moved the SSD to the first SATA port so it would boot from it. When I put the original HDD on the second SATA port, it is visible in BIOS, but not in Windows 10. When I place it back on the primary SATA port, it boots from the HDD again.

I'm certain the second SATA port works--I'm able to run the DVD drive off of it.

Any thoughts?

My system:
Samsung EVO 850 250GB
Acer Aspire Desktop with Windows 10 (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 2TB HDD, ATC-605-UR51)

Ah, thank you! I'm a mac guy, and this is my dad's machine. I wasn't familiar with Disk Management. Apparently the drive has a duplicated disk signature. I'm reading a few guides on fixing that--I need to tread lightly. My dad wants to make sure the data on the old drive doesn't get affected.
