Hello everyone, I'm new here i just joined so i can fix this damn problem.

Okay so my problem is that my computer is wierd when it comes to it's first boot after being inacitve for a couple of hours,

This is usually what happens when i boot

1: Computer goes on normally

2: screen flashes indicating it has a signal to the GPU

3: Screen goes black but is still turned on.

4: Keyboard mouse, headset all LEDs on them turns off

5: Computer shuts down with no warning, not even any thing popping up on screen not even BIOS screen nor windows (boot device problem?)

The funny thing is though after this little "ritual" if i turn on the computer after this it works normally, altough no bios screen but i'm still able to spam DELETE to get into bios but it works fine after this... :/

I know it isn't a huge problem but it's bothering me alot.

one more thing to add might be that i've encountered this problem before but i don't remember how i resolved it xDDDDD

Also my specs
MOTHERBOARD: Z77 mpower 1155 (something like that)

CPU: i5 3570k 4.2ghz

GPU: EVGA GTX 970 4gb

SSD: samsung evo 840 500gb

HDD: hitachi 500 gb

PSU: Corsair 1000w so it shouldn't be a power issue.

RAM: 8gb of corsair vengance running at 1333mhz

Also things i've tried:

1: Unplugging certain components like GPU and one of my ram sticks but to no prevail.

2: Replugging the PSU (I think this is what helped me before when i had this problem but i don't remember )

3: Configuring the boot priorites in BIOS but that didn't help either.

4: Turning off my OC didn't help.

Also when i check other forums about this, it's mostly just concludes with "it's normal for my motherboard" and that feels like utter bullshit because this started happening about a week ago... and as i said earlier i've encountered the problem before with the very same computer (only difference being the case which i changed this summer).

I'm out of ideas here if i don't get it fixed i will just ignore it or take it to a general computer store locally.

Have you tried borrowing a PSU of 650W of a different brand from a friend and trying that to power your system? Could you pinpoint what happened about a week ago whereby you have been seeing the issue stated above as a common occurrence? You didn't state which model/series it is although we know it's a 1KW unit by Corsair. Have you tried removing the battery from the motherboard and replacing it with a fresh cell? In the process tray and clear your CMOS to remove any corruption in BIOS also try and flash your BIOS to version 17.12 or prior and see if it's yet persistent.

There was an indecent with an MSI A88X-G45 mobo whereby the latest BIOS didn't want to boot while the ram was set to an XMP profile nor if the settings for the ram overclock were manually input. until I reverted 2 revisions lower thus my point that it could be a BIOS issue.

Finally a reply.
I have a PSU of 500w and i'll defintly try that one out, my current PSU is a corsair RM1000, and i've cleared CMOS but i've yet to replace the battery with a new one.
Thing is i did nothing unusual with my PC that week, i just played games on it turned it off and next day boom the thing wants to boot twice before succesfully booting.
As i've said i had this exact issue maybe 6 months ago but i can't remember if i solved it or not, i think it just fixed it self.
anyway thanks for the reply and all but i've started to get used to it but i'm cetrainly intressted in finding a solution :)
