Hello, I've just recently, 24 Dec, finished my second ever gaming build for my eldest son. Everything was going great. My son comes to inform me that he was gaming, and the system shutdown for apparently no reason. I've traced the power and outlet works. EVGA Supernova 850G2 PSU. I do notice that when I try to power on, I hear a slight "click" and the overhead lights in the room dimmed sutlely, but will not power on. Picked up a new EVGA Supernova 850 G2 PSU today. Replaced the old one. Nothing, same deal, overhead light dimmed, heard a faint "click" and nothing. BTW-All connections are tight everywhere, motherboard, PSU, etc.The very last bit of software that I added just before this occurred was, Norton Anti-virus. I ran a system check and all is apparently ok. Where do you suggest I go from here? Here is my entire computer setup:
-Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad Core Processor
-ASRock Z97 Extreme6/3.1 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

I had something similar when I fried my motherboard and psu during a storm, I'll never forget to use a surge protector again. Its probably not your issue however its something to check.
