I had my GTX 650 for one year and then the graphics became boring to me, so i decided to buy a decent GPU. I put a budget limit to about 250€ (about 275$) and after a few days of research i came to Nvidia's GTX 960. Now i've heard a lot of different opinions about the manufacturers... Id like to know, how much do they really matter? I came to 2 specific cards:

- EVGA's GTX 960 4GB GRAM FTW gaming
- Gainward's GTX 960 4GB GRAM

I will be buying one of them from my local shop:
- Gainward's GTX 960 4GB GRAM
- EVGA's GTX 960 4GB GRAM FTW gaming

I also picked them on official sites so you'll know which specs mean what since they aren't in English language:
- Gainward's GTX 960 4GB GRAM
- EVGA's GTX 960 4GB GRAM FTW gaming

Also the list of the games id like to play on around 60 FPS while recording on is:
- GTA 5 on decent settings
- Minecraft with SEUS Ultra shaders
- Counter Strike Global Offensive (well probably not worth mentioning since it works on full settings on my current GPU)
- Robocraft (highest settings possible with that card)
- Tom Clancy's ghost recon phantoms (highest settings possible with that card)

So my question is is it worth it to pay 30€ (~32$) more for the EVGA's or is Gainward more then enough for the games I play?

Thank you for answering!

Regards
Matej

Evga probably has the best warranty in the business, if that matters to you. Between those two cards, the Evga has a much faster clock speed out of the box (1304/1367 MHz vs 1127/1178 MHz). That would be (and was) my choice. I have this one: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2968-KR
When I bought it, there was only the 2GB model out. But the 4GB model would be preferred. Btw, don't be surprised if it comes out of the box clocked faster than the specs. Mine has a 1480 MHz boost clock.

Thank you for very quick response! You obviously made a great point telling me that evga is better, but do you think that this gpu is good enough for the games I play? I mean obviously it is but how good can they run on it? Any idea? :) Thenx

Apart from EVGA's great cards, MSI's 960 is also a very solid option, if you want to do some overclocking and want suitable and relatively lower temps, i would go with the MSI, but in the end, it's up to you and what looks you prefer on a gpu. But i would not recommend Inno 3D or gigabyte, unless it's the G1 gaming version. Other wise, asus, msi and evga are all valid options
