Mixing 2 different RAM's

Hello !
I curently have running 12Gb of DDR3 RAM :
2x2GB kit http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-12800cl9d-4gbxl
2x4GB https://patriotmemory.com/product/signature-line-4gb-1333mhz-single-module-3/
Is there any problem by using this two on a asrock z97 anniversary ? http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97%20Anniversary/?cat=Specifications

I sometimes feel some freezes and i think my pc should run faster for it's spec but i never tried leaving only the patriot RAM.

The memory should default to the lowest common settings, which looks like 1333Mhz, CAS 9, with the tertiary settings as appropriate.

When I tested memory over the summer, I discovered that more than 8Gb seemed to use the memory controller more and slowed the system slightly.

I would do some tests and run MemTest86 on both sets separately, and run some basic benchmarks to see what effect they have,

Can try increasing the DRAM voltage + 0.05 to help stabilize the sticks

Will try the MemTest86 first.BTW i never used this.What should i look for in it ? .I feel like my PC boots really hard and some not good FPS in some games.I've got a 960 GTX 2GB from Gigabyte and i5-4460.The only thing i could think of is the RAM .

It's a pass/fail thing and will report errors. You should have none. You will need to make a bootable USB drive.

Well no error occured.I guess there are no problems on the RAM side.

Not in the RAM itself, but there may be a voltage issue. These rare and 'random' problems are a pain in the butt to track down. I keep a log by my computer ant write down when they happen, what I was doing, and how long the computer was on and eventually enough of a pattern or lack of pattern appears to give me a clue what the problem might be.

I'll try removing the GSkill and see how my PC .Any way to check the heat ? The voltage seems to be 1.5 at all the sticks.
By the way i found out that GSkill dose not support the 9-9-9-24 timing should i try one that is supported by both ?

If there is a common supported set of timings for a given freq, then yes, may still need the additional + 0.05 to the DRAM voltage to 'help' them play nice

No, at least not like this, the DRAM voltage will be 1.55, it perfectly safe, many go up to 1.7 depending on their DRAM, though here 1.55 will help stabilize if the sticks will play

I waent to set the DRAM voltage to 1.55 and i found out that the auto mode has already set it to 1.55 this time.Should there be a problem with this auto feature ?I made it 1.55

Try raising the DRAM voltage another + 0.05 to 1.6
