So i've seen for a while now that different cases and mother boards have things next to there name like, mini atx, mid size atx and atx and stuff like that. But i want to know what it all means? for example with a MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition ATX LGA1150 Motherboard will it only fit in ATX style cases or what? thank you

Solution
ATX is the 'standard' size, there's extended ATX which is slitly migger, mini and micro ATX both smaller. Most cases wwill indicate the different size mobos that they are built to accept - and by that I mean they will have pre drilled holes to attach standoffs to line up with the mounting holes of the different size mobos they will support. For an ATX mobo, the case needs to support ATX
