My current build is:
ASrock z77 extreme4
Intel i5 3570
Evga gtx 670
8gb ram crucial ballistix
Corsair cx750m power supply

I'm attempting to upgrade my graphics card to a evga gtx 970 3975 and also swapping my 8gb ram for 16gb. After making the switch I am getting no signal to my monitor. I've reinstalled my 670 as well as the 8gb of ram that I started with and am still without signal to my monitor. I'm reading that I should have uninstalled my current video card drivers before installing my 970, but did not do so. I've cleared the CMOS on my mother board, but am still receiving no signal. I've attempted connecting to my monitor with DVI and HDMI. I'm at a loss at what to try next.

I've attempted connecting to my monitor with my motherboards on board video, but am still seeing no signal.
Does this mean the issue is with my motherboard?
Any help would be much appreciated. I'm kind of a beginner at this.
