How do I perform a full system format (factory settings) if I don't have a Windows 7 reboot disc?

Im trying to put my Lenovo Y570 laptop back to factory settings by formatting it completely but in order to do this successfully I need to have a Windows 7 OS on an disc/external drive and I don't have the actual Windows 7 software to do this so what now..?

its actually super easy as long as the laptop has the factory restore partition. I did this on an asus netbook once. I only had to turn off quick boot in the bios + hold down a button during boot and select restore to factory.

there is even a tom guide :)

Right.
In which case you have to either create your install media from the hopefully still existing factory reset partition, or contact Lenovo.
