I got a new motherboard=ASRock Z170 Extreme4 cpu=Intel i5 6600k. recently and when i installed them it wouldnt even turn on. i fixed that but now it will only turn on using the power button thats on the mother board its self (sorry for the bad typing currently on a phone)

If it turns on with the built in power button, then there is a problem with the case button. Either it is attached to the wrong jumpers /wiring is bad/button is broken. Try shorting the power button jumpers with a paper clip or something to confirm.
