Starting a bit ago, I've been set on getting a GTX 970 for my computer. I wanted something that could handle most of the things I would throw at it on a 1080p gaming system. In this pursuit, though, my brother had informed me of a potential bottle-neck with my CPU (an AMD 4100) and this new graphics card. So, my question is this: do I need to replace this CPU with something better to make it work well with the GTX 970, and, if so, what should I replace it with? I've been told that motherboards can limit you only to specific CPUs, so I'd like to find a solution to work with mine because this gets expensive. And I do not have an infinite budget.
