This may be asking for too much, but with the boxing day sales and a recent visit to the new Star Wars movie, I'm itching for a cheap gaming PC for SWTOR on max or near max settings. I also play dota 2. I have a console, so I don't need a PC for any FPS or anything like that. My budget is limited. I tried the Tom's Hardware $800 gaming PC (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/newegg-system-builder-marathon-q3-2015-gaming-pc,4305.html), hoping for a much reduced cost due to holiday sales, but the price came to $942 + tax, much higher than I was hoping.

In terms of future proofing, a MOBO that I can add new components to in the future is all I really want, such as a new processor or video card.

I don't need a lot of storage, I have a large external drive for those purposes.

How can I bring this cost down while still being able to play SWTOR and Dota 2 at max settings? I'm hoping for $500-700. Thanks for any help you can provide!
